About The Special Election
Polling has close for the special election on Monday, Feb 12th.
Registration and Eligibility
In Minnesota, you must be a U.S. Citizen, at least 18 years old on election day, a resident of Minnesota for at least 20 days and clear of other legal restrictions. Voters must be registered, but same-day registration is an option for most voters.
What if I haven't Mailed my Mail-In Ballot?
If you haven't mailed your mail-in ballot, it must be hand-delivered to your county election office to be counted. Regardless of postmark, ballots received in the mail after election day (Monday, February 12th) will not impact the election. Find your county election office:

Voting By Mail
Many rural townships in district 23B vote by mail instead of at a polling place. Mail-in ballots must be received at the county election office (by mail or hand delivery) before election day to be counted.
You may also opt to vote early by mail using an absentee ballot, even if you do not live in a mail-in voting precinct.
Special Help with Voting
If you live in an nursing home, assisted living facility or residential treatment center - or if you are otherwise unable to go to your polling place due to health or disability issues, you may vote using Agent Delivery.
If you are a survivor of domestic violence or the target of stalking, Minnesota's Safe At Home Confidentiality Program can help you register to vote and access other state services without compromising your safety.
